Inter de Querétaro Fútbol Club is a Mexican professional football team based in Querétaro City, Querétaro, Mexico that plays in Liga Premier de México.

History

The team was founded in August 2020 with the name change of the Real Querétaro, team that competed in the Liga TDP and whose place was occupied by the new club, however, for administrative reasons the team officially played with the name of the previous club.

On January 23, 2021, Azores de Hidalgo announced its withdrawal from the Liga Premier de México due to institutional problems, in addition, the Azores board of directors returned the license to Real Zamora owners, who agreed to start a new project with Inter de Querétaro, so the Querétaro team used the place in the league, however, officially the team was called Azores de Hidalgo for the rest of the season. Inter made their Liga Premier debut on January 30, 2021, losing 4–1 to Pioneros de Cancún.

At the end of January 2021 it was announced that the team got a second team in the Liga TDP after signing an agreement with the Club Fundadores, the new squad was called Inter Fundadores. On July 30, 2021, Inter de Querétaro obtained its own official registration in the Liga Premier and Liga TDP.

In September 2021 the club got a third team in the Liga TDP, which became known as Inter Aicesa SJR, playing in San Juan del Río, Querétaro, In December 2021 the team was withdrawn from San Juan del Río due to problems between the board and the players, the team was relocated to Querétaro City and renamed as Inter San Pablo, however, the team has always been officially called C.D. Querétaro 3D.

C.D. Inter Querétaro, noto semplicemente come Inter Querétaro, è una società calcistica messicana con sede a Santiago de Querétaro, nello Stato del Querétaro, fondata nel 1991. Attualmente milita nella terza divisione messicana, Serie A de México.

Il club venne fondato nel 1991 dal presidente del Querétaro Víctor Barrón e dall'ex attaccante brasiliano Evanivaldo Castro Silva, che divenne il primo allenatore della squadra. Il nome della squadra deriva dall'Inter Milano, la squadra di calcio italiana, e dal Querétaro Futebol Clube, la squadra di calcio brasiliana di San Paolo.

L'Inter Querétaro ha giocato nella massima serie del campionato messicano, la Primera División de México, per due stagioni, dal 1995-96 al 1996-97. Nella sua prima stagione in massima serie, l'Inter Querétaro ha chiuso al 16º posto, mentre nella seconda stagione è terminato al 18º posto, retrocedendo in seconda divisione.

Nella seconda divisione, l'Inter Querétaro ha giocato per sette stagioni, dal 1997-98 al 2003-04. Nella stagione 2003-04, l'Inter Querétaro ha vinto il campionato di seconda divisione, ottenendo la promozione in massima serie.

Nella massima serie, l'Inter Querétaro ha giocato per una sola stagione, la 2004-05. Nella sua terza stagione in massima serie, l'Inter Querétaro ha chiuso al 19º posto, retrocedendo nuovamente in seconda divisione.

Dalla stagione 2005-06, l'Inter Querétaro milita in seconda divisione. Nella stagione 2012-13, l'Inter Querétaro ha vinto il campionato di seconda divisione, ottenendo la promozione in massima serie. Tuttavia, l'Inter Querétaro non ha ottenuto la licenza per giocare in massima serie, rimanendo in seconda divisione.

Nella stagione 2013-14, l'Inter Querétaro ha chiuso al 10º posto in seconda divisione. Nella stagione 2014-15, l'Inter Querétaro ha chiuso al 12º posto in seconda divisione. Nella stagione 2015-16, l'Inter Querétaro ha chiuso al 16º posto in seconda divisione. Nella stagione 2016-17, l'Inter Querétaro ha chiuso al 18º posto in seconda divisione, retrocedendo in terza divisione.

Dalla stagione 2017-18, l'Inter Querétaro milita in terza divisione. Nella stagione 2018-19, l'Inter Querétaro ha chiuso al 10º posto in terza divisione. Nella stagione 2019-20, l'Inter Querétaro ha chiuso al 12º posto in terza divisione. Nella stagione 2020-21, l'Inter Querétaro ha chiuso al 16º posto in terza divisione.
