La squadra di basket femminile dell'Università del Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell) è una squadra di pallacanestro femminile collegiale che rappresenta l'Università del Massachusetts Lowell situata a Lowell, Massachusetts. Le River Hawks, soprannome della squadra, competono nella divisione I della National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) e nella America East Conference. Giocano le partite casalinghe presso la Tsongas Center Arena.

La squadra è stata fondata nel 1980 e ha fatto il suo debutto nella NCAA Division II nel 1983. Le River Hawks hanno vinto il campionato della Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) per quattro volte consecutive dal 1985 al 1988, prima di passare alla NCAA Division I nel 1989.

Dal loro passaggio alla Divisione I, le River Hawks hanno vinto il campionato della America East Conference per sette volte, nel 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2013, 2015 e 2017. Hanno anche fatto sette apparizioni nel torneo NCAA, con la loro miglior prestazione un'apparizione al secondo turno nel 2013.
